Don Bosco International Media Academy - COVID 19: Plans and Protocols. Read More

Intense short-term courses are intended to focus the students on a particular discipline and build technical knowledge on essential equipment used in their profession. We have found that this intensive and immersive approach to be more successful than courses that offer studies on particular subjects for only a few hours of instruction per week. Courses are 4 & 2 Weeks in duration. 4 Week courses are 80 hours total. 4 hours of instruction per day, 5 days per week. All courses include 2 hours of English or French language instruction per day. Also Included in these courses are excursions around Paris to see popular tourist sites as well as museums including the Cinémathèque, France’s premier museum on the history of cinema.

Note: 2 Weeks courses condense the same material as the 4-week courses with 7 hours of instruction per day, 5 days per week. The advantage of the 4-week course is that it gives students more time to work on projects and portfolios. It also gives students more time on language studies and time to see more of Paris. The advantages of the 2-week courses is that the students can save on living costs and have the ability to take several courses in a shorter period of time.

Students will work in groups completing a project to be reviewed on graduation day. students will receive a special certificate recognized in 138 countries worldwide. Student work will be featured on the DBIMA website with a potential audience of more than 10 million worldwide. In addition, each student will be eligible to sign up with the Don Bosco Worldwide Online Job Marketplace called DBLancer.
